Social Media is becoming an important channel for non-profits. Direct Mail is still key, but social media can give us important information very quickly. Non-profits should use that information appropriately and let that data direct your efforts.
One thing to keep in mind is that one-third of all fundraising revenue comes from email. As I stated above, DM is still key, so a strategy we’ve employed at LDMI is to use our winning copy from DM to help us create our email campaigns. So far, its been quite successful.
